How to remove lags in CS:GO?

Online shooter CS: GO – a dynamic game in which much depends on the speed of the system and the equipment used. If for some reason the game lays, crashes, slows down, it negatively affects the gameplay – you can be killed, you do not notice the opponent or lose in the decisive battle. To avoid this, lags need to be combated.

There are several reasons for “slowing down”, if you do not know what exactly is the case, go through the list from the very beginning, excluding possible options. Possible causes of lags:

Inconsistency of computer parameters with optimal requirements;
Problems with data transfer on the line;
Invalid graphics settings in the game.
Before trying to adjust something and fix it, pay attention to the minimum and optimal requirements of the game and compare them with the data of your computer. If one of the indicators is below the minimum value, it’s time to update the equipment.

If the Internet is unstable, there are problems with data transmission, all you can do is change the provider, or find out the cause of the failures and wait for them to be fixed.

The speed of the computer and the processes in the game depend on the correct settings. The most “demanding” parameter is video, because of it most often there are problems. To remove lags in CS: GO and correctly configure FPS, you need to perform a few simple actions:

1. Open the game console by pressing the “~” button. If the console does not open, go to the “Settings” in the game by selecting “Enable Developer Console”. Another option – to turn off the game, open Steam and go to the “Startup Options” in the “Library” menu. In the window that appears, enter “-console” without the quotes;

2. Enter the following commands in the opened console:

rate 1000000
cl_updaterate 128
cl_cmdrate 128
fps_max 128 (you can specify a larger value, it all depends on the installed video card)
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_interp 0
cl_bobcycle 0.98;
3. In the “Main Menu” select the “Options” and “Video Settings” tab and set the minimum values;

4. In addition to the FPS settings in the game, you can remove the animation, as well as lower additional parameters that will also increase the FPS. The following commands should be written to the console:

cl_disable_ragdolls 1 – remove Ragdoll-physics;
dsp_slow_cpu 1 – reduce the sound quality;
mat_disable_bloom 1 – disable the bloom effect;
r_drawparticles 0 – remove almost the entire animation (shots, splashes of water, etc.).
